How to Use PaperCut for Printing
PaperCut provides a simple and secure way to manage printing tasks within our organization. Follow these steps to print your documents using your six-digit employee ID number.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Find Your Employee ID:
- Locate your six-digit employee ID number on your pay stub. This ID is necessary for logging into the PaperCut system.
- You can also find your employee ID online at portal.salinasuhsd.org
2. Print Your Document:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Select `File` > `Print` from the application menu.
- In the print dialog, choose `PaperCut FindMe Printing` as the printer destination.
- Adjust any print settings as needed (e.g., number of copies, double-sided printing).
- Click `Print` to send your document to the PaperCut queue.
3. Release Your Print Job:
- Go to a printer that supports PaperCut.
- On the printer's control panel, select the option to log in.
- Enter your six-digit employee ID number to access your print jobs.
- Once logged in, you will see a list of your pending print jobs.
- Select the job(s) you wish to print and confirm to release them.
4. Collect Your Printed Documents:
- Wait for the printer to complete your job(s).
- Collect your printed documents from the output tray.
Tips:
- Check Printer Availability: Ensure the printer you intend to use supports PaperCut and is available.
- Secure Printing: Always log out from the printer after releasing your print jobs to prevent unauthorized access.
